The Men's Book
Art Director – Modern Luxury

I spent over 3 years at Modern Luxury, and that's where my transition from traditional media to digital really took place, ending my time there as an Art Director. One of the highlights of the period spent at Modern Luxury was creating the first ever 'Men's Book' which is still published today.

When I created the initial concepts for 'The Men's Book,' I used my own photography, developed color schemes and created typographic solutions. The project concluded using my vision for page layout, typography and even my own illustrations throughout the magazine, which tallied about $1 million per volume.

Little did I know at the time, but discovering my target audience, and creating a brand from scratch was something that I would continue to face throughout my career, but had only just begun with 'The Men's Book.'
