One day, I looked at all the thumbnails on awwwards.com and noticed some similarities. I then had a long conversation with an art director about the look and feel of web design today. While we were talking over instant message, I put together this quick template based on current "trends" in 13 minutes just to prove my point. I wanted to then take that template and completely change things...what would I do as an artist & someone in the field to be creative within boundaries? Printed out a website out and ripped it up and scanned it. I made this in 2014, and the web still looks like this today. Even worse.
